Abraham is learning about the outdoors

Abraham Full Year, Handbook 2010
Dear Digvijay,

Abraham is ten years old and is a “Webelos” Scout. Before Scouting, he was unsure about going into the outdoors.

After a “little bit” of convincing he decided to attend summer camp. The end result? HE LOVED IT!

It has been very difficult for Abraham to participate in Scouting because of the economic situation of his family. Digvijay, your generous donation broke down a barrier for his participation and gave Abraham a guidebook for life and a memory for a lifetime. Thank you very much for your support.

Andy is an enthusiastic Cub Scout because of you!

Andy Full Year, Handbook 2010
Dear Digvijay,

Andy is in 3rd grade and is a “Bear” Scout in the Soccer and Scouting program.

He was very excited to have the chance to go to summer camp even though he had never been in the outdoors before.

Digvijay, your generous donation not only made it possible for him to receive his Scout handbook, but ALSO enabled him to experience outdoor activities such as boating, cooking and nature conservation.

Thank you for your support of Andy and Soccer and Scouting!

Juan learns bike safety through Soccer and Scouting

Juan
Dear Neil, Ehtasham, Niranjan, and Susan and James,

Juan is eleven years old and lives in Seattle’s inner-city.  He is the son of a bi-racial family. With your support he will be able to participate in the Soccer and Scouting program run by Seattle’s Boy Scouts of America.

Juan is a very enthusiastic participant.  He recently volunteered to help people cross the street so that he could do his ‘Good Turn’ (a volunteered kind act of good deed).

One of his first Scouting activities in this program was to learn bike safety. In the picture to the right you can see Juan at this class. He is looking forward to going camping this summer as a part of this program!

Your generous support makes it possible for Juan to be a Scout.
